Happy Holidays 2023!!

From Mel, Chung, Zoe, and Ian
Zoe is now a sassy, rebellious 4th-grader! She upped her game on her swim times, can now play songs on the piano that her parents wouldn't dream of trying, and even started picking up the flute! She also attended her first Blackpink concert!
Ian is now a somehow-even-sassier 1st-grader! Following in his sister's footsteps, he's now also on a swim team. We are trying to distract him from Roblox and YouTube by also throwing in some Jiujitsu, tennis and piano.
Cloudy & Sesame are the newest additions to our family! We adopted them when they were 4 weeks old, and they are just the cutest things ever!! Will they replace Zoe and Ian as top billing in next year's holiday card? Maybe!!!
We visited Taiwan for a month in the summer, and the kids got to meet their many cousins and took a few summer camps! Their Mandarin also got... marginally better, maybe...
While we were there, our grandmother passed away at the incredible age of 107. We were so blessed to spend a few last days with her. She is an inspiration, always there with her contagious laughter, accepting us for who we are. We will miss her dearly!
We traveled, visiting friends in New York, taking a Disney cruise in Miami, and checking missions around Los Angeles for Zoe's school project. We also went on our first ski adventure. The kids loved it, which means the parents are going to have to polish our rusty skills and brace ourselves for some gravity-defying acts on the slopes to keep up!

Until 2024!

It was a year of ups and downs, of experimenting with the new, and of saying goodbye to the old. Still, the kids continue to rule over the grown-ups, and we look forward to a brave new year!
